A 20-BORE PERCUSSION OFFICER'S OR DUELLING PISTOL SIGNED HARVEY, no visible serial number, circa 1840s, with 8 in. octagonal sighted barrel with the top flat marked 'Harvey & Son 68 South Street Exeter' and scroll-engraved tang, border and scroll-engraved lock marked with 'Harvey & Son', platinum inset at breech, scroll-engraved dolphin hammer, walnut stock with chequered grip and blank square brass escutcheon, scroll and border-engraved trigger-guard with pineapple finial, brass-tipped ebony rammer stamped '3213', staining to metalwork, and some denting to the chequering, 13 1/2 in. overall
